Hector D. Borjas was detained by ICE while riding his bike down the block from his house on April 23. They stopped him with the excuse that they were searching for someone else. We had given the security deposit for an attorney to represent him. When I (his wife) went to visit him I was told he wasn’t in the system anymore. I was told by an ice officer that the attorney never sent or gave a letter of representation. When I called the attorneys office to asked what happened they had said they decided to not work on his case and cancel the contract. When Hector landed in Honduras his family instantly told him to leave. We are now asking for funds to help him reach our family in Mexico and with time unite him back where his real home his with wife and kid.
