Help Heather's Dad Get a Lung Transplant

Charles Donald Hodges II passed away peacefully April 9th with his loved ones surrounding him- His decline was unexpected to us and the team at Emory. We plan to keep the go fund me up to help with medical bills and arrangements. We thank everyone and appreciate each of you. We are beyond lost without him...

My name is Heather Hodges and I am raising money for my dad's upcoming lung transplant. I feel like most of you know my dad has been having lung issues for the past few years. As a devoted husband of 42 years, an Army Veteran for 20 years serving his country, and an employee in Peachtree City for almost 20 years we are calling on everyone who knows this amazing man.

We are at the point where my dad is on life support at Emory awaiting a double lung transplant. He has been on ECMO for a few weeks, and in order for him to be approved, he has to pass a lengthy testing scale, and we have to wait for them to find the lungs that fit him since he is a bigger man. We have to have a certain amount in our checking account in order to be approved as well.

You would not believe what we have had to go through in order to get this far. If you know my dad you know how important this is for him to be around longer than the 64 years we have been given.
