Heather needs help to obtain justice not only for herself but also for her daughter. On August 17, 2024, Heather obtained an emergency order of protection from the LAPD Pacific Division against her daughter’s father, for both herself and her daughter. This led to a temporary restraining order being issued by the Ventura County Court on August 23, 2024. The order took emergency jurisdiction in California and also granted protection for both Heather and her daughter.

The restraining order prevented the father from having any contact with Heather or her daughter. The court was provided with evidence to support claims that would pose cause for safety concerns, both Heather and her daughter.

Heather has lived in fear over the years due to threats on her life, coercive control, financial abuse, and emotional manipulation inflicted upon her throughout this unfortunate sequence of events and time.

Heather has often found herself at a significant disadvantage in her pursuit of safety and justice for herself and her daughter due to lack of resources for adequate legal representation. Yet she remains vigilant in her fight.
