My name is Heather Bennett. I’m a single mom of four and one on the way. My ex is trying to fight me for custody of my boys because I left him. He has made multiple DCFS calls, and all my cases have been closed. My children are safe with me.

This money will be used to replace my furnace that he broke before he left. We’re staying with family right now because we have no heat in the house. If my kids weren’t safe, I wouldn’t have them.
