Hi I am raising money for my daughter, Heather.

This past Wednesday October 7th I received the phone call no parent ever wants to receive. A fire tore through the camper my daughter had been staying in. It leveled her home, destroyed everything she owned and left a skeleton where her beloved Subaru STi sat.

Thankfully, Heather was not there when the fire started. She arrived in time to watch helplessly as her home, her car, and almost everything she owned and loved burned away. She escaped with little more than the clothes on her back. She lost almost everything she had to her name. As her mom, it is unbearable to see all this devastation and know it belongs to my girl.

We are all overwhelmed and heartbroken but we are leaning on some truly amazing people around us. She is taking things one step at a time, occasionally one minute at a time so she can begin to rebuild. Without getting into detail, her insurance company refuses to cover any of her losses, including the camper that she will be making payments on for some time.

I am reaching out to my family, friends, and the community at large in the hope that we can help her begin to piece together some of the things she lost. Monetary donations will help her with safe & stable shelter, and begin rebuilding her life. If you cannot donate but have some of the physical items that she needs to replace, please share this fundraiser and keep Heather in your prayers. She has no shoes, clothes, winter jackets, etc.
