I want to start by thanking everyone to taking the time to look at this and for sharing it! It means a lot to me and my family.

Heather was walking home Friday evening around dinner time when she was hit by a car in the neighborhood. At current, we know for sure she has two broken bones in her foot and is non-weight bearing for the foreseeable future. We are waiting to see if she needs surgery.

Lauren will take her this week to all further medical appointments. Unfortunately, the whereabouts of the driver are unknown. Due to the fear and shock in the moment, she panicked and didn’t take a picture of him or the car. He came flying around the corner, didn’t stop, knocked her down, and before coming to a complete stop, ran over her foot. Although we are beyond grateful her injuries were not more serious, she is going to be out of work for some time. Her time away from work is unpaid, this is why the fundraiser has been started.

I wanted to start this to give her some time to heal properly and attend all medical appointments without worrying financially. If you know Heather, you know she is always donating to different charities, fundraisers, and of course, animal rescues!

Thank you for your support!
