Help Heather & George Brown

Heather and George are the nicest people I know. Both are hard workers and they have the kindest most giving hearts. I’m saddened to see this happen to them. This is their story below. Let’s help them out with a new chain saw gas, jerry can and oil.

“Yesterday when my husband George was out in the bush, cutting firewood, he walked back to the truck where he had left his extra chainsaw, (a Stihl 250 with a 16" blade) and the chainsaw (with his jerry can of gasoline and the chain oil) and they were all gone. He was just steps away from the extra saw and while he was in the bush cutting, someone came by and stole his new saw (he bought it less than a year ago) and the gas and oil.

George gets up and goes to the bush early every morning and doesn't get home until late afternoon. He is a hard worker and by the time he pays for the fuel and gas to get to the bush, there is not much left over when he sells the wood.

Who does something like this? Just walk up and steal something that is vital to someone else's livelihood. It is so discouraging when you are working hard to pay bills and have a little left over, when something like this happens.

We called to see if we could afford to buy another saw to replace this one and it is about $460. plus tax. We will have to save a bit before we can buy another one.”
