A dear co-worker of mine, Heather Prieto, has made a very difficult decision, along with her family, to bring her beloved husband home on hospice care. Heather is one of the most selfless people I know. She is constantly putting others' needs before her own, whether it's a patient, a family member, a friend, or someone in need of a safe place to stay. Javier is the love of her life, and I can't imagine the pain and stress the following days and weeks will be for them. I'm setting up a GoFundMe to help support her and her family through this time.
