My name is Heather and I gave birth to twins on February 11th, RaeLynn and Clarice. Sadly, only RaeLynn made it through the delivery. My fiancé and I are currently staying at the hotel across the street from the NICU at St. Luke's Anderson Campus Women and Babies Pavilion.
We thankfully could afford to stay a few days instead of having to travel all the way home to the Poconos and back and forth while RaeLynn will be in the ICU for about another month. If we have to travel back and forth, we will do whatever it takes to be with our baby girl on a daily basis. I understand how hard it is for everyone to afford to stay afloat during these tough times; anything will help! I don't want anyone to feel obligated to help out.
There isn't a Ronald McDonald House nearby that I could utilize; it's all coming out of pocket. Sunday, we will be headed home, and that's when we'll have to start traveling back and forth. Anything that GoFundMe raises towards our lodging and food to be closer to our little angel while she'll be in the NICU for the next 4 weeks or so. I greatly appreciate any little bit anyone could help us get through the next month or so staying close to baby RaeLynn.
