Help Heart To Heart Orphans Hear the Music

Hey friends, for all who don't know, I come from a background of working in the personal development industry. I am the Chief Development Officer at Robbins-Madanes Training, Tony Robbins' online school for training life coaches.

I'm currently traveling in Kenya, where I contacted Heart To Heart Orphans (https://hearttoheartorphans.org/) in Nairobi, because I wanted to volunteer my time and energy into creating a personal development seminar for hundreds of their kids. The seminar is now scheduled for Friday, January 24, at 2:00 PM GMT+3.

I intended to play music, dance with the kids, and get on a microphone to teach them some incredible tools that could help guide them through difficult times. However, in the planning, I discovered they didn't have a sound system that could be used for music or lecturing. Since there are hundreds of kids who are going to attend, this will be mandatory.

Instead of renting one for several hundred dollars for only one day, I thought, wouldn't it be cooler to pull together some of my community to put together resources to buy a sound system for them to keep for the long run?

So that's what I'm here to do! To get the speakers, a mixer board, and a microphone that they can have forever. I went to the electronic shops in the Central Business District and discovered that we could get something sufficient for about $1,000.

If we raise less, I can still get them speakers, etc., they just won't be as high of quality. Let's see what we can do in the next 24-36 hours and buy these kids something epic!

I'm going to go scout the property tomorrow at 12:00 noon.
