Help HB and Family Recover from Inn Fire

Help Support the Schwartz/Franciose/Inn Family

As some of you may already know, The Inn at Starlight Lake burned down on February 11, 2025. The Inn was owned by HB’s mom and run by her and HB, who was also the head chef.

While the family’s house is undamaged, they did not reside in this home. The Inn was their home, where HB's two daughters took their first steps, played with their toys, and did crafts, all of which were lost in the fire. Family events were held in the main spaces of The Inn as this was their living room, kitchen, and dining space. The brunt of their personal belongings were kept at The Inn, many items that can never be replaced. The loss of The Inn has been devastating to this family, emotionally and financially.

HB now needs to replace most of their personal belongings and set up a kitchen in a house that now needs to be a home. The largest expense is the need for a new septic system on the house as it was attached to The Inn, which, without power, causes it to be unusable.

In addition to the Schwartz/Franciose family, the employees who were like family are now out of employment. In addition to the needs of HB, her girls, and the house, we hope to raise funds for our staff, Adam, Patricia, Carrie, and Sarah, while they pursue employment elsewhere.
