We are coming together to support Haylie as she faces the overwhelming emotional and financial burden of court fees while fighting the most important battle of her life. My name is Haylie Ramsey-Stewart and I’m humbly asking for help and support during the most heartbreaking and urgent time of my life.

My one-year-old daughter, Emery Rose, was taken from me just eleven days ago by her alleged father. After Emery and I moved out, I was trying to do the right thing and remain civil—I allowed him to visit with her. Unfortunately, during one of those visits, he refused to return her and has since filed for custody.

Because of loopholes and complications in Wyoming’s custody and family laws, local law enforcement has told me they cannot intervene—it is considered a civil matter until custody is legally established. This means I need to go through the courts to bring my baby home.

But I can’t do it alone. I urgently need help covering legal fees, court costs, and the retainer for an attorney who can fight for my rights and advocate for Emery’s safety and well-being. Every moment counts, and every day that passes is more time my daughter is away from her mother.

I am doing everything I can through the proper legal channels, but the financial burden is overwhelming. The funds raised will go directly toward:

    •    Court filing fees and associated legal expenses

    •    Necessary travel or document costs related to the case
