Help Hayley Save Jax from Xylitol Poisoning

Donation protected
I have set up this GoFundMe for my sister Hayley and her family. Yesterday, her 2-year-old Labradoodle, Jax, accidentally ingested Xylitol while she was taking a shower. We learned that Xylitol is extremely toxic to dogs, even in small amounts, and Jax consumed a significant quantity. He began having a seizure just 10 minutes after ingestion, prompting an urgent trip to the emergency vet. Jax’s blood sugar levels were extremely low (she was told this after the doctor examined him) and was un-responsive when she got to the vet. Luckily Olympia Emergency Hospital was amazing and was ready for when she pulled up. The doctors and staff were great and immediately starting treating Jax. Jax came back around and was waving his tail before she left. He needs at least 24 hour monitoring with liver enzyme checks every 12 hours until levels start to go down.. xylitol is damaging to the liver and Jax’s levels were elevated above normal. He was also put on a medication to help protect any further damage to his liver. He also is on a glucose drip to help keep his blood sugar stable as his body processes the xylitol out. As you can imagine, the treatment costs were quite high the total came to $6,500. I’m hoping we will be able to raise some money cover some of these costs.
Hayley was hesitant about me creating this fundraiser, but I felt it was necessary. She is currently recovering from a double mastectomy and has reconstruction surgery scheduled for December, leaving her family with considerable medical bills to manage. She wanted me to mention that her mastectomy was elective to do to the BRCA1 gene mutation. We understand that many people are facing financial challenges, so if you're unable to contribute, we kindly ask that you just share this post. And if you have pets, please remove Xylitol from your home and share with friends and family the dangers of xylitol and pets. Thank you friends.
Update On Ajax this morning..
He is still in the hospital with an unseen time of release as his treatments may continue and this may include transferring him to another vet hospital where the monitoring can be constant, this adds a significant amount more of financial demand that is taxing the family financially.
