Hi, my name is Hayley, and I’m fundraising to compete in the 2026 Adaptive CrossFit Games in San Jose, California.
I was born with Erb’s Palsy, a brachial plexus injury that affects my right shoulder, arm, and hand. For a long time, I saw it as something that held me back.
Walking into a CrossFit gym for the first time was incredibly daunting—but the moment I picked up a barbell (with my left arm!) three years ago, everything changed. I found strength, confidence, and a community that truly feels like family.
This year, I’ve qualified for the CrossFit Games for the very first time. I feel so honoured to represent my gym, my community, and my country—but more importantly, my “why” is to show others like me, especially younger people, that we can do hard things. We don’t have to hide. We can be proud of who we are and what we achieve.
I’m raising funds to help cover the costs of getting to the Games, including flights, accommodation, registration, insurance, transport, and food.
Any support, big or small, would mean the world to me. I know times are tough for many, and I’m so grateful for any contribution or even just sharing my journey.
Thank you for being part of this with me.
Hayley Xx
