I’m reaching out as humbly as I possibly can without the words to even begin to ask for the help we need right now. My brother was just in a bit of a freak accident and was hit and ran over in an act of trying to help someone as he’s always doing and was rushed to Welstar Kennestone hospital trauma center. My brother now suffers from multiple broken pelvis bones, multiple broken bones in his back, broken tale bone, broken foot and a broken hand. Even with all the injuries he sustained, we call it a blessing in disguise because on top of that being in the hospital he found out he was type 1 diabetic. My brother unfortunately does not have insurance and now has to take insulin everyday on top of many other medications. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him. With all this being said he recently was laid off right before all of this due to his job not having work for their employees putting him in a bad place financially. We are in the process of applying for assistance medically and food wise but until approval he is needing help with medicine and everyday expenses. We as a family are all coming together and doing as much as we can, my mom being out of work to be with my brother there’s just a lot of financial burdens. If anyone would like to help in any way possible it would be a tremendous blessing! And in anyway possible is a broad spectrum meaning food, money, medical costs, everyday necessities, down to advice, and prayer is always needed and greatly appreciated.
