We're asking for your help after a severe loss to our operation.
On our way to Headhouse Farmers’ Market on Sunday, August 16, our farm truck was carjacked. We lost the truck, all prepared food products we had packed for market, all the fresh produce (except tomatoes thank you for those who stopped by for tomatoes), cash box, and essential equipment we rely on every week -- including our tents, tables, table cloths, shelves … and other market supplies.
We're incredibly grateful that everyone involved is safe. But for a small farm, losing our truck and market equipment all at once is a huge blow. These are the tools that allow us to get food from our farm to the communities we serve.
We're still processing what happened, but we're determined to get back on the road and back to market as soon as possible.
We've created this fundraiser to help us replace what was lost including equipment and supplies to get our operation back up and running.
If you are able to contribute, any amount will help. And if you can't donate, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family and community is just as valuable.
Thank you for showing up for Hayday Farms. We appreciate you more than we can say. We’ll see you at the next market!
