Hassan Musa Barhoum, a 25 years old young man, who used to live in northern Gaza with his family of 11 members including his wife Samoud and their two children, Juri 3 years old and Ruaa 3 months old who was born during the war.

Hassan story carries the struggles of war, having lost everything in a moment and now living in harsh conditions with his family including his toddler and his infant.

The war has ruined Hassan's life, taking away his home to a pile of rubble. Now he and his family lives in a nylon tent that offers no protection. The relentless sun beats down upon them, while the biting cold of night seeps through the thin fabric. There is no protection from the rains that leaves them shivering and vulnerable. It is a cruel and unforgiving shelter, a constant reminder of the devastation wrought by the conflict. Every gust of wind threatens to tear it apart, leaving the whole family exposed to the harshness of nature.

In the face of these challenges, Hassan and his family require increased support and protection to ensure their basic needs are met, including medical care, shelter, food, clean water, children food, baby formula and diapers. Let us come together as a community and offer a helping hand to this strong young man who is determined to care for his family despite the odds.

This war has stolen so many valuable things from us , some of which can never recover or come back , it has stolen many of my relatives including my uncle, his five children, and my aunt, who was like a mother to me and to my siblings . They have left a great void in our hearts. We ask God for mercy and acceptance for them and all our martyrs.

Our source of income, which my father worked hard to secure and provide for us including the household expenses of food drink, and which provided us with educational expenses to complete my dream of studying medicine. My father's source of income was growing strawberries and some vegetables. But after the war, which is still ongoing, my father’s livelihood and source of income have been destroyed due to the occupation’s vehicles razing our land and bulldozing the water well. Now we no longer have a source of income. And now we are deprived of all our basic requirements and deprived of our rights to education due to the lack of education expenses due to my father losing his source of income, which was a support for all of our need. Therefore, I ask you to look at us with mercy, and to stand with us and help us obtain the basic needs and essentials and to help me complete my medical degree.
