A message from Hassan:
"Peace be upon you, I am Hassan Al-Najjar from Gaza. We are a family of 5 brothers and my mother. My father is deceased. We used to live in a house that I owned and we used to live a happy and safe life. Now we have become homeless and we do not live in safety or comfort. I ask you to help me build and rebuild the house so that I and my family can live in it instead of tents. I hope that you will help me so that I can complete my university studies for dentistry.
The war started on October 7th and we were displaced on this day. We were displaced to nylon tents that were hot during the day and night, in summer and winter. In winter, the rain would come inside us, and food had become very scarce and unhealthy, and the price of everything had become many times higher.
Before the war, we lived in a house, and now in a tent that did not protect us from the cold or heat. We were very tired, and the smell of death was everywhere."
