Hi, I am once again asking for your support in helping out a family impacted by the current violence and conflict in Lebanon.

Hassan, I won’t share his full name to protect his privacy, is a family friend and a baker (فرّان). He lives in Chiah and was forced to flee with his children, two of whom are disabled, and spend these cold nights in the streets of Beirut. Hassan’s bakery (فرن) is in Chiah as well and, for obvious reasons, can’t go back to work and make a living. Like the thousands of displaced in Lebanon, he is reliant on support from NGOs and whatever the Ministry of Social Affairs can provide, which isn’t much. But he needs money for his children’s medication and to provide basics to keep them warm and safe.

I will provide regular updates on Hassan and his children, but will not provide photos as Hassan is already heartbroken that he has to rely on donations.
