Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
On Tuesday, January 7th, my sister, Roxanne Armstrong, informed me that the California Eaton fire was rapidly approaching their neighborhood. She and my brother, Harry Armstrong, who shared her home, had to evacuate immediately with little time to spare. Unfortunately, their home was destroyed on Wednesday, January 8th, along with all their possessions. They managed to leave with a few belongings, the clothes on their backs, and their two beloved dogs.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly to Harry Armstrong to replace essential items that are needed to get his home-based computer graphics business back up and running. This includes a computer, monitors, cameras and lighting, clothing for a 6'3" guy, and all those other items you don't realize you need until they are gone.
Even the smallest contributions are deeply appreciated, as the collective strength of many giving whatever they can will create a tremendous impact.
As the older sister, living in Alaska, it's hard not to be there in person to help my siblings gather things they need to just live day to day.
However, it has been a huge relief and blessing that they found a stable place to stay as they slowly rebuild their lives.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this difficult time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Linda Homan
