Hi! We're HarmonYouth Foundation, a youth-led nonprofit founded by Adam Wu and co-founded by Hanry Zhang.

Our mission is simple: bring free live music to seniors in our community.

Our volunteers visit local senior residences to perform music on a variety of instruments, including piano, violin, flute, clarinet, guitar, and more. We welcome musicians of all skill levels because we believe everyone can use their talent to brighten someone's day.

HarmonYouth Foundation started with a simple idea.

One afternoon, our founder, Adam Wu, visited a senior residence and asked if he could play piano for the residents. It wasn't for school or a volunteer requirement. He simply wanted to share music with people who would enjoy it.

Seeing residents smile, hum along, and thank him afterward made him realize how much a live performance could mean. It was a small gesture, but it had a real impact.

Instead of letting it be a one-time experience, Adam decided to build something that would last.

He partnered with Hanry Zhang, an RCM Level 10 pianist and experienced clarinet player, and together they created HarmonYouth Foundation so that performances could happen regularly, not just once in a while. Their goal was to give young musicians an opportunity to give back while creating something seniors could look forward to.

Since then, we've continued organizing performances for local senior residences, and every visit reminds us why we started.

Why We're Fundraising:
As our organization grows, we want to reach even more seniors and involve more young musicians in our community.

Your donation will help us:
  • Organize performances at more senior residences.
  • Expand our volunteer program so more youth musicians can participate.
  • Purchase matching HarmonYouth Foundation shirts so our volunteers are easily recognized and represent our organization professionally.
  • Cover the costs of running and growing our nonprofit, allowing us to serve more people throughout the year.

Every dollar goes toward helping us expand our impact. Whether it's funding another performance, welcoming a new volunteer, or giving our team a professional identity, your support helps make it possible.

Many seniors don't have the opportunity to attend concerts anymore. By bringing music directly to them, we're able to create moments of joy, connection, and community that they genuinely appreciate.

If our mission resonates with you, we'd be incredibly grateful for your support. Whether you donate or simply share our fundraiser, you're helping us reach more seniors through the gift of music.

Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us grow HarmonYouth Foundation.

With gratitude,

Adam Wu
