Harlow snuck out and someone hit her and left her in the ditch she even had her bright orange harness on.

We spent a long time looking for her and drove past her multiple times screaming and didn't see her. We took our other dog, Runa, out to help us look and she found her.

I took her to the vet who did fluid, x-rays, lots of meds and referred me to VCA for surgery. They told me to fix a fracture on both sides, it will start at $12,000.. she has at least 4 fractures. Presurgical exam starts at $280 and we spent almost $700 yesterday. I got a call back saying that the VCA surgeon wanted me to go to somewhere that has neurology on staff as well. I'm waiting for a call back from U of I now.

Send me some good vibes and any advice. Our old man dog has cancer and now this. She's still a baby.
