Harley and Alayna Jenkins have been put in a difficult position after unimaginable loss. On October 31st, 2025, my mom was hospitalized with liver disease. Her condition worsened, leading to double pneumonia and the need for a ventilator. About a month into her ICU stay, doctors discovered she had suffered a stroke. Despite her strength, things took a turn for the worse, and on December 28th, 2025, my mom made the heartbreaking decision to stop fighting. She left this world, leaving behind two children—Damian, 17, and Hillary, 14. Their father had passed away in 2024, so now, neither of their parents are here with them anymore.

In the midst of this tragedy, Harley and Alayna have stepped up as guardians for Damian and Hillary. They have rearranged their lives to be there for my little brother and sister, all while raising their own two-year-old and preparing for another baby on the way.
