As many of you know, my husband, Michael’s family and community in Hanover, Jamaica, were badly hit by Hurricane Melissa. The category 5 hurricane destroyed many homes and community resources, including farms, schools, medical facilities, places of worship, and community service organizations. The process of rebuilding is going to be long and continuous. The need for funds and resources will be ongoing.

While we haven’t been able to get in contact with Michael’s family to determine the best way to distribute funds directly to the community, we want to be ready when we do.

We are raising money to donate to the farmers and schools in the Hanover community.

A portion of the money donated will also be sent to Food for the Poor Jamaica.
