My name is Gemechu Wedesa, from Ohio, USA, and I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea to support Haniya Mohammed Yuya and her young son, Ethiopian refugees currently struggling to survive in Egypt.

Haniya’s journey has been one of unimaginable hardship. Fleeing violence and instability in Ethiopia, she sought refuge in Egypt, hoping to find safety and a better future for her child. However, life as an immigrant has proven to be a daily battle. Haniya faces dire shortages of food, shelter, and clothing, with limited access to resources or support systems.
