Help Handyman Reggie get a new truck
Local handyman needs a new truck.
Hello Everyone,
About five years ago, I needed a handyman, so I turned to Home Advisor and found
Reginald Young. Since then, “Reggie” has
been our handyman and more recently, our contractor when we renovated a
bathroom. He has also done a lot of jobs forother homeowners in and around
Westchester/Playa Del Rey/Los Angeles
and Inglewood California.
Reggie drives a 2002 Dodge Dakota and
has poured thousands of dollars into fixing it numerous times over the years just to
keep it going. I called him last week
regarding a project I want to hire him to do but he said his truck had broken down
again and it will be at least two weeks
before he can get it fixed. Prior to his truck breaking down, Reggie was scheduled to
complete numerous jobs, both residential
and commercial but without a vehicle to
hold his equipment and get him to the jobs, he cannot work. Reggie is humble and
hasn’t shared all the details with me but he did say that he can’t afford to purchase a
new or even used vehicle right now. I asked him if he would accept help and he did say, “Yes.” He knows that if he doesn’t have a
truck, he can’t work, and he is losing
income each day.
Reggie is a hard-working man who has
followed the rules. He just needs some
help right now and I’m concerned that his
lost income may result in him becoming
homeless if he doesn’t have a way to get to work.
I’ve never created a Go Fund Me account
and I assure you that the request is
legitimate. I’m adding a photo of Reggie and I’m hoping we can all help get him back to work by helping him purchase a used
truck to be used for his handyman business.
Blessings
