Our family is going through an incredibly painful and heartbreaking time. My younger sister, Halle, recently found the courage to speak out about years of sexual abuse she endured from the age of 11 to 17 at the hands of her own father. Because of her bravery, he has been arrested, and we are so proud of her strength for coming forward.

As we begin the long journey of healing, this situation has also placed an unexpected financial burden on our family. Our mom is now carrying the full weight of our household on her own while doing everything she can to support Halle through therapy and recovery.

We are doing our best to remain strong and lean on each other during this time.
