Why the Plan has Changed!

A few months ago, I shared my heart and my plan to move my family from Afghanistan to Pakistan. However, as many of you following the news know, the situation for Afghan refugees in neighboring countries has become increasingly unstable and dangerous due to shifting immigration laws and rising tensions.

After careful research and consultation, I have had to make the difficult but necessary decision to pivot. The previous plan is no longer a safe or viable option. I have found a new, more secure destination that offers a 100% guarantee for visas, ensuring my mother and sisters will not just be "out," but truly safe.

The Current Situation

While I continue my studies in Psychology and Economics, the weight of my family’s safety is my primary focus. In Afghanistan, my mother and sisters are currently denied the right to education and free movement. As a woman who lived under this rule myself, I know that every day we wait is a day they are at risk.

My goal is to evacuate my mother and two sisters. My father and brothers will stay behind for now, as they still have some access to school and movement, but the women in my family need immediate intervention.

Because this new path is more secure, the costs have changed. I am a student on a tight budget, and while I will personally cover their long-term groceries and daily needs once they arrive, I need your help with the "bridge" to get them there:

• $14,000 for Visas: This covers a 100% guaranteed legal pathway to their new destination.

• $1,600 for Flights: Travel for three people.

• $1,200 for Housing: Six months of rent in their new city.

• $5,000 for Emergencies: To ensure they are protected during the transition.
