Please, at least read to the end. Give us the chance to share our story with you. ❤️
Hello, I'm Cata from Spain, and I'm helping Haitham Essam Abu Alyan, who lives in Gaza / Khan Younis to raise some money to survive, he is a family friend and I will send him the money via PayPal.
Haitham Essam has four sisters, his parents, his wife, and his son, and two nephews. They are currently in Gaza, enduring continuous displacements.
We have created this campaign to raise an amount to ensure their basic needs and some money for their future.
As we all know, everything in Gaza is scarce and very expensive. Feeding an entire family of nine is challenging; preventing everyone, especially the children, from going hungry is crucial.
Since October 7th, 2023, Haitham and his family have endured multiple displacements — the most recent one in May 2025. They had been living among the ruins of their former home, which had previously been bombed and burned. Despite everything, it was still a place they could call their own, offering some shelter from the elements.
But now, they've been displaced again, this time to the Al-Mawasi area, with almost nothing — they were only able to take a few pieces of clothing.
They have no tent, no shelter of any kind, and are in urgent need of one. They need a space where they can protect themselves from the sun and have even a small sense of privacy. There are three adults, three children, and two babies — including Haitham’s older sister, who was also forced to evacuate and is now staying with them. They are all together, living in extremely harsh conditions.
Their house was bombed and destroyed, leaving them unable to live there. They have become homeless, like so many others in Gaza. They lost their home, their memories, and the security of having a place where their children can grow up.
Haitham's family consists on nine members, and he is solely responsible for securing donations to ensure their survival.
On one side, there are Haitham's parents and four siblings, and on the other, his wife and their baby.
These people deserve much more.
Additionally, Haitham was injured during a bombing, suffering a severe chest contusion.
I encourage you to contribute to this urgent campaign so they can avoid hunger and survive.
They have to try to cook in very difficult circumstances.
After the closure of Rafah, the price of even the most basic necessities has skyrocketed. The amount they need daily or weekly is very high, making it impossible for them to afford essential items like meat or basic personal hygiene products.
The sooner we reach the goal of this campaign, the better they can plan their purchases, allowing them to eat meat on occasion. Let’s help them grow up healthy.
The levels of destruction are extremely high; just look at the photos.
If you've made it this far, I want to thank you. At this point in our story, we would greatly appreciate a donation—any amount is welcome. If that's not possible, please share our story. We don't want to give up, but we need your help. If you think this won't make a difference, I'm here to tell you that it will. Choose your cause; small actions sustained over time can make a big impact.
