Help Hailu Save Young Ethiopian Mothers

Some of you have heard about our Ethiopian son, Hailu, and his efforts to help the many poor people in his country. He and his adopted children, shown with me in this photo, live in Lalibela in the northern part of Ethiopia--very close to the current war with the break-away province of Tigray.  The Tigray forces are attempting to capture Lalibela and the Ethiopian authorities are evacuating the town. Hailu and his family will travel to another city and rent a home; they should be fine. But Hailu is already encountering many refugees, particularly young teenage mothers with babies and toddlers. They come to his home, asking for food. He says that he can help such girls--give them a chance to reach safety--if he can give them small sums.  "They each only need $30.00 to $40.00, and they will have a chance," he says. Dear Friends, Please help Hailu help these young girls. Some have been raped or forced into childhood marriages, and now have children.  Every donation, no matter the size, will be appreciated.
