Hello!

My name is Lily, I am currently 15 weeks pregnant, I have an adorable 6 year old son named Onyx and a wonderful fiancé named Omar.

My family and I recently suffered a traumatic event. Our whole apartment flooded unexpectedly in the night. Backed up with rain water.

Everything we own, ruined.

Since I am currently expecting, I’ve been keeping a stockpile of baby items, including two new breast pumps - they are all floating in above ankle high waters.

My son’s favorite toys, electronics and clothes - beyond soaked and destroyed. He is supposed to start school the day after this happened.

My fiancé and I are absolutely devastated and frankly unsure of how to continue on.

Though we understand everyone is going through hard times, especially financially and don’t expect a lot, we really had no other options as far as how to recover from this tragedy.
