Irish Dolls in London started in 2018 as a small idea—to create a home away from home for Irish women living in London.
Since then, it has grown into a community of nearly 8,000 women supporting each other through friendships, careers, big life changes, and everything in between.
What many people don’t see is that this has been built entirely voluntarily, alongside a full-time job, with no funding.
As the community has grown, so have the costs:
Hosting events
Website and platform costs
Social media and content creation
Launching a podcast
Building a new members area
Admin and day-to-day running
I’m at a point now where, to grow and support this community properly, I need to bring in help and invest in the infrastructure behind it.
What the money will do:
Every penny raised will go straight back into the community, helping to:
Build and maintain a new members platform
Fund more events and initiatives
Support content, podcasting, and resources
Allow me to outsource support and grow sustainably
If you’ve ever benefited from Irish Dolls in London—whether that’s through events, friendships, support, or simply feeling less alone—I would be so grateful for your support.
Even £1 makes a difference. And if you can’t donate, sharing this means just as much.
This community has always been about showing up for each other. Thank you for being part of it
