Hi, my name is Gretel and I’ve been separated from my 2 year old daughter across the Pacific. I was meant to take my kids to Disneyland from Tasmania but during our layover in Melbourne, my 6 month old son was denied boarding due to a canceled ESTA Visa Waiver. My 2 year old daughter and her nana boarded the flight but my son and I were unable to, leaving us not at our home with our husband in Tasmania but stranded in Melbourne. A new city that’s a flight away from both my daughter in LA and my husband in Tasmania. We reapplied for my son’s ESTA Waiver and it was granted, but last minute flights to LA, especially at a time like this, are thousands and thousands of dollars. This is day 4 being stuck in Melbourne. My daughter is scared and missing me and not understanding what’s going on. I just want to get to her as soon as possible.
