Let’s help Greg Cruz secure a home for his family.

I was just made aware that one of our good friends, Greg Cruz, is in a really tough spot right and could use some community support.

A lot of us know Greg as the person who has spent years showing up for others without hesitation. He’s furnished thousands of homes, fed thousands of people, and has been a steady source of help, hope, and compassion for so many families over the last decade. When people were in crisis, Greg was often one of the first to step in and do whatever he could.

Now, Greg is the one who needs a little help.

He has already been approved for a new house and has worked hard to get this far. He’s already paid first and last month’s rent, but he’s still trying to come up with the $2,350 security deposit needed to secure the home for himself and his children.

Greg is a hard-working single father, and anyone who knows him knows how much he loves and shows up for his kids. This move means stability, peace, and a safe place for his family to land — and I can’t imagine anything more important than helping make that happen.

Life has been heavy for a lot of people lately, and asking for help isn’t always easy. But if Greg has ever impacted you, inspired you, helped someone you know, or simply reminded you what community looks like, this is a chance for us to return some of that love.
