OPERATION SAFE HARBOR WEEKEND

Help us give Gray's Landing children's a break!

The situation at Gray's Landing has created a deeply stressful and unhealthy environment for all residents - which includes: families, seniors, people living with disabilities, veterans, and pets. No vulnerable populations should be dealing with housing issues like chemical contamination or constant stress.

We, the neighbors, are raising funds to provide the residents with a full, safe weekend stay at a local Motel 6 within Multnomah county. Donations will cover a hotel room and travel expenses. This will give residents a much needed break from the facility and an opportunity to spend time in a clean, healthy environment.

We are coordinating this effort as neighbors to demonstrate that the community will step up to protect it's most vulnerable populations despite property management at REACH focusing on and fulfilling it's legal duties first over providing habitable living conditions. Every dollar raised goes directly to covering hotel costs for residents that are directly effected by the tear gas exposure. This gofundme is directly managed by the residents effected by the chemical exposure related to the police occupation at the S Waterfront in Portland, OR 97239.
