On Sunday April 12th we lost one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. Grant Northey went out for a quick motorbike ride and coffee with a friend and never came home. He was hit by a car on Mount Tamborine road, airlifted to hospital but passed away from his injuries shortly after, he was 52.

As the main income earner, Grant was the pillar of his family. Without that income, his wife Lara is facing immediate financial strain to keep the household running and pay for funeral costs.
