I want to share a deeply personal story about someone who has been a constant presence in my life—my grandma. She’s the only grandparent I’ve had close contact with. I never met my grandfathers, but my grandma was always there for me, especially when I needed her most before joining the military. I visit her whenever I take leave, cherishing every moment we spend together.

They are still determining the type and the next steps, but her road to recovery will be long and challenging. She’s facing fear and uncertainty while stabilizing her health to undergo critical procedures like an MRI and biopsy.
