Hello readers. My name is Sheila. At the onset of covid, back in 2020, I had the good fortune to meet a lovely woman who was raising 7 of her grandchildren.... 7! Since that time, we have grown to become good friends. Well, Gramma P has successfully seen a few of them through high school and on to the working world. Mom has scooped up two of them to do her best with them, and Gramma P is left with 2, along with 2 of her own children.

Moving back to the working world herself in the very near future, her housing has consisted of one slum lord after the other. The current one stopped paying his mortgage, so the house was foreclosed on, and the family needs to be out in weeks. Section 8 has supported her move to a new home, but GrammaP must come up with the security deposit for this new rental, $2400! She cannot get her deposit back from this last landlord; apparently he has dropped of the face of the earth. I am writing this, hoping I can assist by covering half of this amount, while she reaches out to her friends and family for the remainder.
