GWC - Helping those that do good, do better!
Donation protected
Here at Goodwill Collective we’re passionate about helping organisations that do good, do even better. We’re a volunteer-based consultancy providing free, specialist expertise to charities, social enterprises and not-for-profits.
Access to this level of professional expertise would typically be out of reach for many charities who have limited financial resources. This is where Goodwill Collective steps in. We help them to expand their reach and maximise their impact.
Our members are real people who are committed to making a difference in the communities in which we live. Our business model relies on the generosity and goodwill of our members to pay a small membership fee and donate their time and specialist expertise to charities and not-for-profits.
Running Goodwill Collective is however not without its costs. Be it insurance, website hosting, software costs or costs associated with supporting our members volunteer their services – it all adds up and contributes to the challenge of being able to continue to support the charities which desperately need our help. Keeping the doors open takes more than goodwill!
We are proud of the impact we have had to date and look forward to expanding on it in the future. In just over 6 months, we have donated nearly $70,000 worth of services to charities and not for profits, all through the kindness of our members and volunteer consultants. However, to continue to deliver and build upon this extent of impact, we need your help.
If you’re looking to make a difference this year, we would love you to consider a donation to Goodwill Collective. Your donation will allow our amazing volunteers to continue to deliver much needed positive outcomes for our partner organisations.
“Highly recommend Goodwill Collective Inc. (in fact that’s an understatement). When a team of highly skilled professionals offer these skills to small charities, the impact is almost immeasurable – almost!”
Angela Wood, Founder – Big Group Hug
In fact, for every $100 donated, we can provide as much as $2,000 in impact! Some examples to date include:
- Helping Western Chances, a fantastic charity that provide scholarships and enrichment opportunities for disadvantaged youth, plan for the continuation of their operations as the COVID-19 pandemic swept the community in early 2020
- Partnering with Bendigo Foodshare to refresh their operational model and finances to allow them to sustainably distribute food to over 90 charities, community organisations and schools throughout Central Victoria
- Assisting the Nappy Collective secure funding to provide nappies to families with babies who simply could not otherwise afford them
- Working with Big Group Hug, who provide goods to disadvantaged children and families, develop and implement a fundraising strategy for their operations
- Supporting Edmund Rice Camps (Victoria) to develop a volunteer engagement plan, structured around improving efficiency in the programs they deliver and optimising the benefits for all associated with the charity.
This is a small selection of the big impact we’ve been able to have in the last year of operation. We are excited to continue to provide our support to organisations that do good in the community and ensure they are set-up for success.
While we know your donation will help us support charities and not-for-profits who desperately need our help, we also want to recognise each contribution publicly. As a means of thanks, we will publish a list of all donors in our annual report as well as on a dedicated page on our website. Extending on this, we will also celebrate your support via our social media network (subject to your approval of course!). We want to make sure that your contribution is recognised and show the world how grateful we really are!
If you’re ready to help us make a difference, we would greatly appreciate your support!
