Dear Friends and Community,
We’re reaching out with both gratitude and urgency. For years, our faithful van has been the backbone of our work — helping us make weekly CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) deliveries, harvest produce, transport trees, and maintain vital partnerships with the local food bank. Through these efforts, we’ve been able to feed families, strengthen our community, and grow something bigger than ourselves.
Unfortunately, that same van has now reached its limit. It recently caught fire and is no longer drivable. This loss has hit us hard, disrupting our weekly operations and putting several cornerstone programs at risk — including:
Project: No Empty Table, which provides complete Thanksgiving holiday boxes for families in need. Each box includes a full Thanksgiving meal — a 10+ lb turkey, fresh and canned vegetables, stuffing, cornbread and bread mixes, macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, pumpkin or sweet potato pies, hot cocoa, and more. Last year, we served 350 families, and this year, the need has grown to over 500 families across nine cities in the Puget Sound area.
A Very Merry Christmas Tree Tour, which delivers and donates Christmas trees to families who otherwise wouldn’t have one.
Without a reliable vehicle, these efforts — along with our food bank partnerships and CSA deliveries — are in jeopardy.
We’ve found a promising opportunity to purchase a dependable replacement vehicle through a local dealer. With a solid down payment and community support, we can make this happen. However, we need to raise at least 71% of the vehicle’s total cost to move forward.
Every dollar brings us closer to getting back on the road — to deliver food, trees, and hope where they’re needed most.
Your contribution doesn’t just replace a van — it helps us keep feeding families, supporting neighbors, and spreading kindness all season long.
With heartfelt thanks,
Goat & Seed Family Farm
