Hi, our names are Bec, Daniel H, Daniel K, ben and Jack, and we are creating this fundraiser to help our friend Glencye to save her home on the Tasman Peninsula.

Glenyce is currently homeless, and will remain homeless if we don't act now as a community to save her home. Will you help?

Glenyce has volunteered her time for her community every day of her life through the SES, other emergency services, the Neighbourhood House and community events. Now as she faces her home being bulldozed, its our turn to rally around her to help her to save her home.

In recent years after the death of her husband Steve, jobs on her home went unattended, and the support that Glenyce needed was not readily available. Now the repairs needed on her home have accumulated to the point of the house being condemned.

But all is not lost! Tradies have been engaged, jobs have been costed up and Tasman Council are being extremely helpful. We know what needs to be done to save the house and bring Glenyce home.

All that remains to be done is to raise the funds! We know that as a strong community, we can do this. Will you help us??

Here is a list of approximate costs:

Electrician: $7,000

Plumbing: $5,000

Plastering: $3,000

Roofing guttering: $2,000

Painting and incidentals: $1,500

Other jobs: $1,500

Total: $20,000

All funds will be raised and expenditures facilitated through not-for-profit Parrdarrama Pungenna Aboriginal Corporation (PPAC), who support Glenyce.
