Help Glen Waverley Soccer Club Rebuild After Arson Attack
Donation protected
In the early hours of April 16th, Glen Waverley Soccer Club’s home base at Capital Reserve was tragically targeted in a suspected arson attack. The fire caused significant damage to the club’s facilities — destroying equipment, uniforms, administration supplies, unreplaceable memorabilia and leaving a deep emotional impact on our community.
I speak for all, we are devastated.
For over 45 years, Glen Waverley Soccer Club has been more than just a place to play football. It’s been a home — where thousands of children have taken their first kick, families have made lifelong friends, and local businesses and volunteers have come together to support the next generation.
Now, for the first time in the clubs history, we are asking for your help.
This fundraiser will help us:
Replace vital training and match-day equipment
Provide uniforms and kits for our junior teams
Cover temporary venue hire and admin support while our home is out of action
Any funds raised beyond the initial goal will go towards helping all that has been lost to ensure the club can continue to grow and serve the community for years to come.
If you’ve ever played for the club, watched a loved one take the field, or simply believe in the power of local sport — I'd be so grateful for your support.
No donation is too small, and every share helps get one step closer to recovery.
Let’s come together and show what this community is made of.
Thank you for standing with Glen Waverley SC.
