Help give Sarah and Johnny a little support.

Hello all. Can you help give Sarah and Johnny a little support? They’ve had a pretty tough year, best described by Sarah’s own words from her recent FB post, pasted below. I guess it doesn’t really matter how much we can raise, though the cash will no doubt be of use. Be it for house repairs or a family day out. What’s important is that they know they have friends who have got their back and that they can reach out to us when in need.

*Obviously we need to try and keep this secret from them for now!*

Thanks for your support!

Sarah’s recent post:

A year ago today we moved out of our Didcot house to pursue a house renovation that has turned into all levels of wrong, bad and screwed over. We know how renovations take longer (we were told 4 months and we're 1 year later...) and cost double (haha and some) but not only has all that happened, we have also had to cope with the screwed over part, leaving us worse off than we've ever been with a filthy botched house that we're just about managing to scrape off the ground to be able to move in to this side of summer.

We're not proud of it, we hate it, and we hate the decision we made to start it and leave our lovely house in the first place and so many other decisions we made in between. To say this year has been a struggle is an understatement. Jonny's been off work with stress and my work has been affected massively by moving to a further away and non permanent area and not having a music room anymore (p.s. Did I say I also had prenatal depression, a new baby, a terrible 2 AND we're in the middle of a pandemic?) and now we've got to try to love this house we've got ourselves involved with and live in it 'happily'.

I've not been OK for a long time, we've not. But, things are gradually getting there now (with mental, financial and physical help) and we might actually move in one day this summer... The kids have kept us going, as well as making things worse too and it's been really hard to feel like speaking to anybody.

Just wanted to give everyone the short story of it all (yes, there's a much longer version!) and summarise my year of pain, crying, no sleep and struggles. You're welcome :p
