Hey everyone. I'd always feared this day would come. My boy Jaws is in need of a very expensive surgery and in today's world its a crippling expense. Jaws went in for a routine dental and tooth extraction which was already stretching my budget very thin and while he was under the vet did a ultrasound to check on things. A sizeable mass was spotted on his spleen. My girlfriend just lost her dog a few weeks ago to a ruptured spleen and I'd hate to see the same thing happen to Jaws so we're opting to have it removed as quickly as possible to give him a fighting chance. Many of you have watched Jaws grow old on social media over the years and many of you know how close we are. He's been my support dog for over 10 years now getting me through some of the hardest times in my life. I always say "he gets what he needs" and right now he needs help that I can't fully afford on my own. I've donated whatever I could to people dozens of times over the years even when I had little to give so I'm hoping it'll come back full circle and people will help me out now when I need it most.
