<div>After months of doctor appointments, testing, and uncertainty, Matt Podesla was diagnosed with a small B-cell lymphoma that first presented as a tumor at the base of his skull. Additional testing has shown that the lymphoma has spread to multiple areas of his body.  Doctors have recommended approximately seven months of chemotherapy.

<div>As many of you know, Matt is a musician whose career depends on traveling and performing. Treatment will significantly impact his ability to work, as chemotherapy is expected to cause profound fatigue and weaken his immune system, making travel and performing much more difficult throughout his treatment.

<div> In addition to the emotional and physical challenges of this diagnosis, Matt is facing significant financial uncertainty. Because he is self-employed, he does not have employer-sponsored health insurance. He has already undergone extensive testing, imaging, biopsies, surgery, and hospital visits, and there are ongoing concerns about insurance coverage and the substantial medical expenses that come with cancer treatment. The financial burden continues to grow at a time when his ability to earn an income will be greatly  reduced.

Stand with Matt in His Fight Against Lymphoma

<div>As most of you know my best friends Michelle and Sal Fazzino have been staying at CCMC since last week. The doctors found a tumor on their son, Nico’s, age 5, brain that they had removed. While the surgery went well the tumor has been diagnosed as high grade, meaning that in the next two weeks he will be starting treatment, and possibly chemotherapy. Michelle and Sal have felt all of the love and support from all who know them. The outpour of generosity has been nothing short of AMAZING! With that being said it is uncertain what comes ahead for their family as they navigate through this difficult time. Michelle will be out of work and we are not clear on all of the medical bills. I am asking all of their loved ones if they can help continue to support them.  Thank you for all of the love and prayers for my best friend. ❤️

<div>Hey everyone. I'd always feared this day would come. My boy Jaws is in need of a very expensive surgery and in today's world its a crippling expense. Jaws went in for a routine dental and tooth extraction which was already stretching my budget very thin and while he was under the vet did a ultrasound to check on things. A sizeable mass was spotted on his spleen. My girlfriend just lost her dog a few weeks ago to a ruptured spleen and I'd hate to see the same thing happen to Jaws so we're opting to have it removed as quickly as possible to give him a fighting chance. Many of you have watched Jaws grow old on social media over the years and many of you know how close we are. He's been my support dog for over 10 years now getting me through some of the hardest times in my life. I always say "he gets what he needs" and right now he needs help that I can't fully afford on my own. I've donated whatever I could to people dozens of times over the years even when I had little to give so I'm hoping it'll come back full circle and people will help me out now when I need it most.
