This Father’s Day Conn Dinsmore didn’t wake up to two big dogs in bed, children with hugs and a wife wishing him a happy Father’s Day….
Hours before this day…. my sister answered a phone call telling her there had been an accident, and husband and his motorcycle had fell to the hands of a drunk driver. She met the ambulance by jumping out of car running saying, waving.. “that’s my husband! That’s my husband” to get in before the rush to save him.
How quickly our lives change.
Four daughters wait for the news of each surgery, and the news on when to move from the ICU.
Conn Dinsmore works overnight truck driving, he’s always hugging his girls, and always telling stories and making his friends and families laugh. He is the man you can go to for advice, lend an ear, a warm handshake, or a big hug. He’s the handiest man on the grill at family parties, and the biggest Harley fan.
His wife Jacki sits beside him in the hospital, while the girls wait for dad.
Conn needs to focus on healing, so he can go back to the simple life he worked so hard to create, and to be with his girls.
If you could help this family in anyway with the gray cloud burdens that trail behind in these situations we would all be so grateful. (bills, gas, food, medical, etc) Anything helps!
If you are not in a position to give this way, maybe in your evening prayer you send a little love to stars to fall on him and his family and bring some peace.
thank you for your support
