Honoring the Life of Erich Muth – A Dedicated Friend and Colleague

With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we come together to remember and celebrate the life of our beloved friend and colleague, Erich Muth. Erich was an extraordinary member of the Alaska Arctic Catering & Support Services, Inc. family for over 14 years, making an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.

Erich was much more than an exceptional employee; he was the heart and soul of every kitchen he worked in. His passion for cooking was matched only by his kindness, generosity, and commitment to his team. Whether during the busiest hours in the kitchen or during quiet, heartfelt moments shared over coffee, Erich was always a source of warmth, laughter, and encouragement. His work ethic and dedication were unparalleled, and his pride in serving others was evident in everything he did.

But what truly set Erich apart was his unwavering kindness. He treated everyone with respect and was always ready to lend a helping hand, share a joke, or offer a steady presence during tough times. To know Erich was to know a true friend—a person who became family to all of us.

Erich’s sudden passing has left an unfillable void, but his legacy of hard work, compassion, and camaraderie will live on in our hearts forever. As we say goodbye to Erich, we hold onto the countless memories and the profound impact he had on all of us. His spirit and influence will always be with us.

In honoring Erich’s memory, we wish to support Jeovannie, his long-time partner, through this incredibly difficult time. Jeovannie, shown in the photo to the left of Erich, was Erich's rock, and we hope he finds comfort knowing that Erich is now at peace, reunited with his mother, whom he deeply missed.

We are setting up this GoFundMe to help Jeovannie with any immediate financial needs, as well as to offer a gesture of support and love during this painful time of loss. All proceeds from this campaign will go directly to Jeovannie to help him navigate the challenges ahead, including the loss of Erich's income, which enabled him to afford the condo they recently purchased together.
