Hello everyone,

My name is Theresa (Gio’s wife). As many of you know, back in May Gio was hospitalized with pneumonia and influenza for two weeks. Unfortunately, his health didn’t improve, and for almost two months we were in and out of the hospital searching for answers.

On June 28, we finally received a diagnosis—one we never expected. Gio was diagnosed with leukemia, and on top of that, he has also suffered mini strokes, which have affected his vision. He spent nearly 40 days in the hospital receiving treatment and care.

Gio has now been out of work for almost four months. At this time, I’m unable to work because I need to be with him every day, taking him to his treatments (our insurance doesn’t provide transportation), and helping him manage his health, all while caring for our girls.

We are reaching out to kindly ask for any support you can give to help us stay on top of our bills and mortgage during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, means so much to us and will help ease some of the financial stress as we focus on Gio’s healing.
