Help Gio and Des Rebuild Their Gym Community

Where do I even begin…to say we are more than heartbroken is an understatement.

As many of you know, my brother (Gio) and Sis in Law (Des) poured their hearts and souls into The Camp. Their journey started separately as they each were fighting personal battles. They met at The Camp and instantly hit it off. Starting as members they quickly fell in love not only with each other but with the magic you all created at this place.

Fast forward and they both started as staff members. It was easy to see how they care about every single member that came through those doors. They treated that place as if it was their own and treat everyone like family. Sometimes you guys saw them more than I did but I knew this was there happy place. Sadly the news of the closure hit them hard and it hurts me to see that they have to leave a piece of their hearts on that floor and how broken hearted it has made them.

All I kept hearing from them all week is how they can’t abandon their community, their family and how they need to figure out a way to keep us all together. How so many of members lives will be impacted and affected by this closure and they are determined to make it their sole responsibility to fix it and offer everyone that safe haven again. They refuse to call this the end, they want to show up for their community and continue to be a place where people feel safe and welcome and can continue to grow their confidence and strength.

So I am reaching out to all of you, to help make this happen for them. They have a plan and are eager and motivated to start a gym but as we know being a business owner is hard, and doing it from scratch is even harder.

So if you can help donate money, any bit helps. This money can be allocated to help them use it for initial start up cost like equipment, building cost and improvements, licenses and permits and etc. We have other resources we are looking into as well.
