Immediate Support for the Kendall Family
Donation protected
On March 6, 2025, Sean Kendall, a loving husband, father, and friend, was involved in a tragic accident while working at a remote job site near Point Mackenzie, Alaska. While crossing the Susitna River in a side-by-side (ATV), the vehicle broke through the ice. Three members of the group managed to escape the freezing water, but Sean and one other person were swept under the ice in the current. Despite extensive search efforts by the Alaska Wildlife Troopers, DPS aircraft, and the Civil Air Patrol, Sean has not been found, and the search is ongoing.
Sean was a man with a wonderful sense of humor and a warm, passionate spirit. He brought joy to everyone he met with his laughter and kindness. Sean’s loss is devastating to his wife, Gina, and their 16-year-old son, Koen, who are now facing this heartbreaking tragedy.
In this time of incredible pain and uncertainty, we are raising funds to help Gina and Koen navigate the unexpected financial burdens that come with such a sudden and devastating loss. The funds will help cover both immediate and ongoing expenses, allowing them to focus on healing and supporting each other during this difficult time.
Please consider contributing to the Kendall family’s GoFundMe campaign. Your donations will provide vital support as they cope with this tragedy and work to move forward without the incredible presence of Sean. Every donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support. Please continue to keep the Kendall family in your thoughts and prayers.
I have known Sean and Gina since we went to West Anchorage High School together. These funds will be used to support the immediate costs for the family during this difficult time.
For those asking how to directly support Koen’s future, we have set up a dedicated trust fund separate from this fundraiser. You can learn more and donate here: https://gofund.me/4bf73202
